Department of Cultural Properties

The YIU Department of Cultural Properties extends opportunities for students to engage in specialized research on cultural property and offers exposure to cultural relics so that they can better adapt to on-site work. The department nurtures professionals who will transfer and develop uniquely Korean culture by arming students with practical experience in a systematic manner. Graduates can work as cultural property experts in various organizations including the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, the National Museum of Korea, the National Museum of Arts, the Cultural Heritage Administration, and other public and private museums.
